Photo ByCheryl A. Pemberton, Chairperson - Professionally, Cheryl A. Pemberton has over twenty years of diverse experience that includes experience in the political arena, providing consulting services to community development corporations throughout the country, with Local Initiatives Support Corporation, managing operational audits, of multi-million dollar public/private/nonprofit organizations with the New York City Comptroller’s Office; and establishing non profit organizations in Brooklyn and Manhattan. She is currently the Director of Volunteer Recruitment and Administration at Lighthouse International.

Cheryl Pemberton serves on several other non profit boards including: The Priscilla E. Pemberton Society of The Bank Street College of Education and The Loan Committee of the Neighborhood Housing Services- South Bronx Office. As a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., a community service organization, Ms. Pemberton has been a charter member of three of the five chapters in which she has been a member. In Zeta she has held positions of leadership in her chapter on the regional level and with the Sorority’s National Educational Foundation.

Cheryl Pemberton received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from SUNY @ Albany and received her Master of Public Administration from Bernard Baruch College and is a National Urban Fellow.

Leona D. Willis, Secretary - Professionally, Ms. Willis is film producer and director. An active member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.,  she has served in many capacities on the national level, most recently as the Sorority’s National Representative to the March of Dimes. Ms. Willis is a graduate of Howard University and the immediate past Vice President of the Howard University Alumni Club New York City. She also holds active membership in the National Association of Negro Women, the NAACP, National Association of Black Female Executives in Music and Entertainment and volunteers for the American Cancer Society.

Ralph Davis, Treasurer - Mr. Davis has had an extensive career as an accountant and financial analyst in both corporate and nonprofit organizations. He has worked as an Assistant Controller of Cancer Care Inc., Mr. Davis has also been a consultant to various non-profit such Women In Need. Mr. Davis has held Senior Finance positions at NBC Cable Networks and News Corporation.
Mr. Davis is also an entrepreneur and president of his own promotions and production management company.

As a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. Mr. Davis has served in many positions including Chapter President, Chapter Treasurer, Financial Secretary, Audit Committee Chairman of Epsilon Sigma, has also served as the Eastern Regional Treasurer of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.

Mr. Davis holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting from the New York Institute of Technology.

Monique L. Brock - Ms. Brock is currently and educator with the St. Lucie County School District in Florida. Her career has also included experience in operational audit for the New York City Comptroller’s Office as well as the banking industry with Mid Atlantic Bank.

Currently, Ms. Brock is an active member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. She serves as treasurer of Zeta Eta Zeta Chapter, the advisor of their youth group, the Archonette Club and the Chairperson of their Sisterhood Committee. Ms. Brock is a founding member of the National Pan-Hellenic Council of the Treasure Coast.

Ms. Brock is a graduate of Bethune-Cookman College and has a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration Management.

Nikosa Collins, Chairperson – Stork’s Nest Committee - for approximately ten years, Mrs. Collins has had a career in scientific research and evaluation as a cytotechnologist. She received her Undergraduate degree from The State University of New York at Albany, and her certification in cytotechnology from Albany Medical College School of Cytotechnology.

Currently Mrs. Collins member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. Sigma Nu Zeta Chapter and serves as its Secretary.

Francine Frazier Wallace, Chairperson Youth and Community Development Committee - Mrs. Frazier Wallace is currently pursuing her Ed.D. in Education Leadership at Teachers College, Columbia University with a concentration on Secondary & Post-Secondary Education, Non-Profit Organization Leadership. She has obtained an Ed.M. in Education Leadership, from Teachers College, Columbia University, a Masters Degree in Public Policy from Georgetown University. She is currently the operations administrator for the Weismann Center for Leadership within the Graduate School of Bank Street College of Education.

Mrs. Frazier Wallace has traveled and worked with indigenous NGOs in The Gambia since 2001, and established an annual education supply drive for rural schools in The Gambia, West Africa, with estimated aggregated giving worth $100,000. She has 10 years combined teaching experience in several capacities: (a) as an Adjunct Professor for Organizational Behavior in the School for International Training at the Program in Intercultural Service, Leadership and Management, (b) as an Instructor of Statistics for the College of New Rochelle, (c) as an Instructor of Educational Policy for Hofstra University, and as (d) an Instructor of Mathematics at Houston Community College, and Teacher of Mathematics in the North Forest Independent School District in Houston, Texas.

Mrs. Frazier Wallace’s service experience is extensive as she has served as consultant for the “No Child Left Behind” policy implementation at the New Haven Public Schools in New Haven , CT, as a Lecturer at Lehigh University for a Principal Preparation cohort, as a member of the Board of Directors on the American Council on Africa, in partnership with NYU, as a member of Harlem Girls Collaborative, Girls Inc. Her research papers and presentations include, “Does No Child Left Behind - Leave Behind School Dropouts,” an AERA Roundtable Paper Presentation.

Sharon LaDay - Ms. LaDay is Director of Corporate Strategy & Development at Wimba Inc.; where she works on a variety of transactions in all stages, including partnering and M&A, from deal sourcing and processing to closing.  Her career has also included experience in competitive intelligence for EMC and product marketing for Symantec.

In addition to the Five Pearls Foundation, Ms. LaDay is an active member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. where serves as president of Sigma Nu Zeta Chapter.  Ms. LaDay also serves as a trustee for the Helene Fuld College of Nursing in New York City.

Ms. LaDay graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and from Columbia Business School with a Masters in Business Administration.
