Well Project

“She who brings water brings life.”  African Proverb

In rural villages in Ghana West Africa, people are so desperate for drinking water that they take a chance and drink the polluted water flowing through their village. Many become very ill, others develop blood in their urine as a result of the dehydration and some eventually die.  It will cost $3000 (US) to professionally drill a well that will provide safe drinking water for a village and save the lives of women, children and families in rural Ghana.  This well project is managed by the Z-HOPE International Women of Color Project. To date the program has built 44 wells throughout Ghana. Your tax deductible donation will allow The Five Pearls Foundation to save lives by building a well in another needy rural village in Ghana, West Africa.
